Game Day One Post EUROs: But Which Patch Will the Lionesses Wear?

It’s a little over two months since England made history once again — beating Spain to retain their European Champions crown. And as tradition goes, the winners’ jerseys are always adorned with a special WINNERS patch, proudly signifying their champion status.

But this year, there’s one big question… which patch will the Lionesses field?

Here at FOUDYS, we like to think we’re ahead of the curve when it comes to all things women’s football — especially when it comes to kits. But even we don’t yet know what will appear on the shirts when the Lionesses take the pitch this weekend.

On 27th July 2025, England defeated Spain in a tense penalty shootout, with Chloe Kellyslotting home the winning spot-kick to seal back-to-back European titles. Since that unforgettable night, two official patcheshave been released:

  • A shield-shaped patch, currently seen on the England “Winners” shirt; and

  • A round patch, matching the style of the 2022 edition.

So which one will feature on the shirts this Saturday?

England face Brazil, captained by former Arsenal defender Rafaelle, at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester — their first match since that historic final. The friendly will also mark the first appearance of the current England Nike jersey since the team lifted the trophy in July.

If you can’t make it to Manchester to spot the patch in person, the England Women vs Brazil Women will be live on ITV1 from 4.45 pm, with kick-off at 5.30 pm.

We’ll be watching closely — eyes peeled for that all-important patch reveal. 👀
